About the Job

Our actor should feel grounded, easygoing, and quietly funny. He’s not the loudest one in the family, but he’s very much part of the chaos: the kind of dad who goes along for the ride, carries the bags, laughs at the wrong moment, and somehow keeps everyone moving. He should bring a relaxed, warm presence that balances Mom’s enthusiasm and Aida’s teenage resistance. He’s supportive without being overly sentimental. A good sport. A good hang. The kind of dad who may not totally understand what’s happening, but is happy everyone’s having a good time.
